Biography

Wei Der Chung received a MS degree from Syracuse University, and a PhD degree from University of Texas. His research interests include adaptive control, condition monitoring systems and robotics. In year 2010, Dr. Wei Der Chung has conducted theoretical analysis on adaptive control as the Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Connecticut, with emphasis on aerospace applications, the Commercial Modular Aero-Propulsion System, Generic Transport Model Projects with NASA Glenn Research Center & Pratt & Whitney. Before this position, he also served as Technical Analyst& Information Specialist at Project Support Center with Dow Chemical, MI, and USA. Since 2011, he is serving as the Manager of Industrial Networking Technology Department at Mechanical and Systems Research Lab, Industrial Technology Research Institute, Taiwan, contributes his experience to adaptive control, smart sensor, robotics and smart manufacturing.
