ITRI Showcases UAV Innovations at XPONENTIAL Europe 2025

Making its debut at XPONENTIAL Europe 2025 in Düsseldorf, the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) showcased eight groundbreaking unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technologies across applications, software, key components, and power solutions within the Taiwan Pavilion. Highlighted by visits from key Taiwanese and German trade officials, ITRI's exhibit featured high-efficiency delivery drones, an AI drone fleet system for automated inspections, a Compal-partnered ultra-low-latency 5G video module, lightweight flight controllers, and advanced propulsion systems. Additionally, ITRI introduced range-extending power solutions, including lithium batteries that increase flight range by 1.5 times and an air-cooled fuel cell system capable of 181-minute flights with a 5 kg payload for high-altitude and long-distance deliveries. By presenting these market-ready innovations, ITRI aims to strengthen Taiwan's presence in Europe's rapidly expanding UAV market and foster international supply chain collaborations.
