Yuan-Cheih Lo

Biography

Yuan-Chieh Lo holds a master’s degree in Applied Mechanics from National Taiwan University and is the inventor of multiple awarded patents in robotic automation and intelligent control systems. He served as a project manager at ITRI with 7+ years of experience across 20+ robotic manufacturing lines, leading full-stack development in software, hardware, and system integration.

In 2025, he spins off from ITRI to found Holon Robotics, successfully raised an angel round, and is now scaling across Asia and the U.S. He is building the first AI robotics operating system capable of standalone, unified intelligence — preserving manufacturing know-how while automating through the integration of AI, robots, and sensors.

The platform supports multi-robot and sensor integration, 3D scanning and path generation, edge AI, and LLM-based cloud service. It enables force control, vision and laser-based adjustments, and zero-code deployment through a human-in-the-loop design.

Lo's entrepreneurial and technical achievements have been recognized by the 2024 TREE Startup Award (First Prize), the 2024 EE Award Asia for Best Smart Manufacturing Platform, and the 2023 Outstanding Youth Award from China Youth Corps, Hsinchu.
