Biography
Cheng-Han (Chandler) Ho, manager of the Automotive Electrical Control System Department, Intelligent Mobility Technology Division, Mechanicaland Mechatronics Systems Research Labs (MMSL), has 9 years of working experience in ITRI with a focus on EV. His Main research studies include X-By-Wire, vehicle modeling, powertrain systems in electric vehicles, and digital twin of vehicles. Mr. Ho earned his master’s degree in mechanical engineering from National Taiwan University in 2015 and specialized in computer-aided engineering (CAE), finite element analysis (FEA), multi-body dynamics (MBD), NVH, multi-physics simulation, and vehicle system dynamics simulation.
Mr. Ho has been committed to implementing software tools in the V-model process for automotive, which accelerated the development cycle as well as kept the cost of verification and validation down for key components of the supply chain significantly. He is also experienced in by-wire chassis, lane-keeping assist system (LKAS) development for electric vehicles and was involved in passenger, commercial vehicle design, and developing programs for domestic and foreign car manufacturers.
