Ching-Chiun Wang

Biography

Ching-Chiun (Stephen) Wang received his Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the National Chung Hsing University. Dr. Wang is a cross-disciplinary principle researcher in software and hardware module research and business development for advanced thin film equipment mfg (manufacturing technologies) in ITRI . Since 2016 he has been working as the deputy director of the Semiconductor Equipment Technology Dision at Mechanical and Mechatronics Systems Research Labs (MMSL) in ITRI. His R&D focused on vacuum thin film process and equipment manufacturing including MOCVD, PECVD, ALD and PVD for memory, LED, OLED, flexible optoelectronic, and solar cell devices.

Furthermore, he has expertise in materials analysis and characterization, especially in SEM/TEM analyses. He also worked for Electronics and Optoelectronics Research Labs (2005~2008), focusing mainly on developing thin film and etching technology for DRAM and RRAM memory devices.
