Ying-Che Weng

Biography

Ying-Che Weng received his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Taiwan University. Dr. Weng’s research focused on fluid machinery design, simulation performance of pumps, compressors, and fans, fluid machinery, fluid structure interaction, numerical simulation of ventilation in underground tunnels and subway stations, fire simulation, and evacuation safety verification. He has 10 years of experience in the field of energy-saving fluid machinery technology and specialized in the development and simulation analysis of high-efficiency fluid machinery technology At the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), he led large-scale industry collaboration projects, conceptualized forward-looking projects, and contributed to social welfare projects. He also assisted the Energy Bureau in completing projects on the development and promotion of high-efficiency motors and power machinery technology as well as facilitating local SBIR projects and industry-specific expertise projects. He has been honored with awards for quality management excellence and recognition as an outstanding youth representative in society.
