About the Speakers
Bing-Shiang Yang
- Received Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor.
- Expertise includes robotics, electromechanical integration, smart manufacturing, and medical technology innovation.
- Recognized as ASME Fellow (2026); received the IEET Outstanding Teaching Award (2019), the Marquis Who's Who Lifetime Achievement Award (2017), and 3rd Place in the Stanford Design Challenge (2016).
Ming-Hsien Yang
- Engineer at Industrial Technology Research Institute specializing in mechanism design and power transmission systems.
- Expertise includes gearbox design, gear analysis, and drivetrain simulation.
- Developed a high-efficiency electric bus gearbox achieving 97.7% peak efficiency through design optimization and testing.
Jyun-Kai Chiu
- Received M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Taiwan University.
- Expertise includes polymer molding technologies, flexible electronics, and electric vehicle powertrain development.
- Recipient of the Chi Mei Award, HIWIN Thesis Award, and multiple ITRI awards including Outstanding Research, Service Promotion, Excellent Publication, and Quality Excellence.
Cheng-Han Tsai
- Received Ph.D. in Power Mechanical Engineering from National Tsing Hua University.
- Expertise includes artificial intelligence, machine vision, robotics simulation, and embodied robotic systems.
- Received the Outstanding Manager Award of Hsinchu in 2025 for leadership in advancing intelligent robotic technologies and industrial applications.
Ya-Chi Ho
- Received M.S. degree in Power Mechanical Engineering from National Tsing Hua University.
- Expertise includes advanced thermal management, two-phase heat transfer, immersion cooling, and server-level thermal design for HPC and AI systems.
- Authored and co-authored more than 20 academic papers and patents related to next-generation cooling technologies.
Chun-Chieh Wang
- Received Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Chung Yuan Christian University.

- Deputy Division Director of the Mechanical and Mechatronics Systems Research Labs.
- Expertise includes smart manufacturing, digital twins, industrial IoT, and machining process optimization.
- Led the development of immersive digital twin and remote collaborative engineering technologies connecting physical and virtual manufacturing environments.
