Josuet Leoro received his B.S. degree in Mechatronics engineering from The University of the Armed Forces, Ecuador, in 2013. He received his M.S. degree in Mechatronics engineering from the National Taipei University of Technology, Taiwan, in 2015, and his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, in 2021. During his graduate studies, his research work included industrial robotics and mobile manipulators, with a focus on kinematics and motion planning. The same year, he joined the Mechanical and Systems Research Laboratories, ITRI, as a researcher and is currently serving as Deputy Technical Manager of the Service Robots Department.
